Duffy the Disney Bear's new friend Gelatoni!

Like many people, I have a somewhat obsessive fascination with Japanese culture, especially when it comes to Disney.  It is my dream to visit the Tokyo Disney Resort (which I have a goal to do within 3 years!) and I spend an inordinate amount of time ebaying merchandise from the Japanese Parks.  The other day I came across this little guy!:

His name is Gelatoni and he is a friend of Duffy, the Disney Bear.  Like Duffy's girlfriend, Shellie May, Gelatoni is exclusive to the Japanese Parks (owing, it seems, to Duffy's mega-stardom over there)! Check out the adorable pink Mickey heads on his little paws and the beautiful minty-green of his coat! I don't know about you but I think he is precious and I just gotta have one!

Duffy and Gelatoni, so cute!

Gelatoni bento from OmGIRI,, previous post about OmGIRI's AMAZING bentos here.

Official Illustration of Duffy and Gelatoni kickin' it.

I want all the Gelatoni Merch!

Disney Tattoos!: Part 1

In an effort to keep today's post short and sweet (I am oh-so-very tired), I thought I would share some super-awesome Disney-related tattoos.  These all came from tumblr, except for the last one, which is one of my own!  Although mine is not strictly Disney-related, it is inspired by an illustration found in a Victorian-era edition of The Little Mermaid.

Let me know what you think of these in the comments section!

Minnie Legs.
Beautifully illustrated Disneyland Castle.
Alice, the original weird girl.
Haunted Mansion Love.
Probably my favorite.
Steamboat Willie Love.

Disney Bentos!

Oh Disney! Oh Japan! How easy it is to integrate you two into an unhealthy fixation, easily fueled by hours of aimless and effortless tumblr searches.  Amirite?!?

That said, right now I'm obsessed with these AMAZING Disney bentos!:

These boxes were done by Mike Kravanis of OmGiri… check out more of his adorable creations on is Facebook page!: https://www.facebook.com/OMGBento

The Little Orange Bird is my favorite… but which is yours? Let me know in the comments section!

Sugar Rush Attraction

For a girl not all that girly (really), I sure do love cute, pink, sweet, adorable things!  Thus, it follows that my approach to armchair imagineering will often involve how to get more saccharin into the parks! Well, not always, but today it does.

Wreck it Ralph was enough of a hit, yes? I know it wasn't Frozen, and that getting Frozen into the parks in a greater capacity than the current meet-and-greet situation is probably at the top of Imagineering's to-do list… but a Sugar Rush Attraction though! C'mon! This!:

And this!:

And These!:

How can they not!?  I suggest that Imagineering do something similar to Radiator Springs Racers, which from what I gather (I have not had the opportunity to ride it yet) is half (stunning) dark ride and half thrill.

Again, I know that Wreck-it Ralph was not the hit that Frozen was, but *news flash* Disney, neither was Alice in Wonderland… and yet Walt had the foresight to realize that these were great characters… sigh.

Where will it go, though, you say? Oh, that's easy.  Where the Tommorowland Speedway currently is, duh!

What about you? Do you think Sugar Rush would make a good attraction? What other movies should Disney look at making into a Dark ride? Let me know what you think in the comments section!
